Mart Smiths provide a tag stringing service that include machine and hand stringing. We can string single tags, booklets, luggage labels and eyeletted products with various strings ranging from artistic/cotton, elastic, rubber band, gimp, ribbon, steel wire, plastic, jute, cord, safety pins (various colours) and pierces etc. We can also drill the tags.

In addition, we can either single string the tag or halsh i.e knot the string first then place the string through the tag. We can also string the tags with loose ends. We can position the hole in various positions on the card with a variety of hole sizes.

Eyeletting is the process of insetting a metal rivet inside a hole for attaching, combining or reinforcement purposes. A variety of sizes are available. We handle many different types of eyeletting jobs and each process can differ slightly from the next one. We provide various coloured eyelets for tags.

We can pack a wide range of greeting cards to our customers specification. This can vary from a simple card envelope into a self-seal bag. We can attach acetate front covers, apply a badge to the front of a greeting card, apply a wrap plastic sleeve, attach a ribbon, apply an insert within the greeting card with labels. We can also handfold the greeting cards.

We can make flat or capacity folders and pack literature within folders if required. Depending on wether the product is laminated or UV varnished, we will assure the product is firmly taped or glued.

At Mart Smiths, we provide various types of Gluing Services that include: Double Sided Taping, Hot Melt Glueing, Glue Dots, Sticky Foam Pads and PVA Glue.

Using these glueing techniques we can assemble a large variety of products which vary from folder making, envelope construction, button bag glueing, glueing sleeves, greeting card attachments.In addition, we can assemble simple products to highly complicated items – we have high levels of flexibility thanks to our experienced staff.

The picking will be done by our highly trained staff who will understand your requirements and will follow the stringent guidelines outlined in the picking list. We can pick numerous amounts and collate or bag them in order. We can simply count products, place them into bags and label the products if needed.

We have a variety of hand folding options from opposite folds to a simple single fold. We can match any specification supplied by our customer. Wether its magazines, tags, sleeves, leaflets, promotional literature etc. we can cater for all your folding needs.

We can pack literature to any speciifcation – wether it’s a single item or more. These can be placed into envelopes or ready for posting immediately.

Mailings - single or multiple items can be picked, sealed into envelopes with a personal letter and individually labelled.
